Sinds mid-2024, you've been able to tinker with our TrendBaby AI Ideation applications, hosted on our platform. You can still access those tools here (until January 2026).
Now, recognizing your need for fully independent, private ideation, we've switched to a setup that lets you ideate 100% within your own AI assistant, with TrendWatching upfront providing the trend intelligence and prompts.
It's a new chapter in our trends x AI x ideation journey, to create new trend-driven products, services, campaigns and strategies, using your own, secure AI environment, be it ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Perplexity.
(And yes, priority #1 is to continually smoothen the process — stay tuned!)
1. Input
Decide on the trend you want to ideate with and then copy (below) & paste your ideation prompt into your own AI assistant.
Then answer your assistant's questions about who you're ideating for.
2. Ideations
Based on all input, your AI assistant will then ideate three new winning consumer products / services / experiences.
3. User testing
To fine-tune the ideations, your assistant will ask you some follow-up questions and will then conduct some synthetic-user testing.
4. Final visualization + recap
Once the ideations are fully to your liking, your assistant will visualise them, and also produce a nice deck recapping all input, reasoning and the actual ideations.
That's it!
(And yes, you can ask your assistant to do another run and create even more ideations... indefinitely, even 😉)
1. Decide on (and download) a trend
Decide on the TrendWatching trend you want to ideate with (from our Trend Framework or our Trend Reports).
Then download the trend PDF.
Bonus: keep a file (doc, PDF) about your company, strategy or plans ready, too, as this info will further boost the ideation output
2. Copy the ideation prompt
Choose the prompt needed for the AI assistant you use:
Then open your own AI assistant and right-click 'Paste'.
The prompt will show — now just hit 'Go'
3. Follow your AI assistant's instructions

Your own assistant will guide you through the ideation process. Answer its simple questions, step by step and follow through to the end.
