Director of trend strategy

Lisa is our Director of Trend Strategy. Based in New York, she heads up the daily Innovation of the Day newsletter and our New Normal publication, facilitates workshops and regularly presents trend research to clients - including Mastercard, Marriott, Church & Dwight and Vans.

Thomas Klaffke

Head of Research

Thomas heads up our sister company Business of Purpose and works closely with our Content team to map out global, meaningful consumer trends and insights. He previously worked as a Trends and Innovations consultant in Germany and South Africa, and believes that the time for business as a force for good - one that champions sustainability, well-being and equality - is now.

Chief Operations Officer

Riz is a Singapore-trained Environmental Scientist who oversees our strategy and daily operations. After ‘growing-up’ as a true global citizen all over the world and working in startups and as an environmental consultant, he has found his passion in empowering the purpose-driven economy in every possible way.

Acacia, based in Singapore and previously our Head of Trends & Insights Asia, is now one of our Evangelists at Large. A highly sought after speaker, she has delivered over 90 trend keynotes and innovation workshops across the globe, for clients including P&G, Coca- Cola, Adidas, MasterCard and Amadeus. Acacia's regional trend briefings have also been featured in various publications such as Campaign Asia, Inside Retail, Warc and Mumbrella.

Zuzanna translates our trend intelligence into beautiful designs. Hailing from Gdynia in Poland, Zuzanna has been living in the Netherlands for several years, where she graduated from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.

Head of Academy & TW:IN

Nia is responsible for managing twin  our community of 1,700+ trend professionals from over 80 countries. She's also working hard on launching our first public Academy courses. A Singapore-based published author and engaging speaker, she delivers keynotes and workshops on trends and innovations for global conferences and clients including Beiersdorf in Jakarta, Inside Retail in Hong Kong, Hufvudstaden in Stockholm and Danone in Singapore.

Social Media Manager

Sophie takes care of all our social media accounts, from Instagram to Telegram to WhatsApp to Twitter. She’s a French MBA graduate from Brittany who now finds Amsterdam her base. Sophie channels her love for movies, music as well as surfing to bring life to our online omnipresence, keeping our different online communities engaged.

Henry, who expertly managed TrendWatching from 2012-2020, is an experienced and sought-after keynote speaker and author of Wiley-published 'Trend-Driven Innovation'. Catarina Macaroco

Head of Marketing

Catarina is our Marketing Director, overseeing all our brand awareness campaigns (including content partnerships) and promotional campaigns for our free publications and paid services. 
Originally from sunny Portugal, Catarina has helped startups, scaleups and big corporations implement growth into their DNA. She then decided to shift her focus and, like many, find her purpose, which brought her to TrendWatching.

Krystyna acts as the main point of contact for all our Premium clients.  Since graduating with an MA in Sociology from the University of Edinburgh, she spent many years living and working in Paris before joining our Customer Success team.

HR & Finance Manager

Liesbeth expertly handles all our HR and finances. A Dutch-Canadian hybrid, Liesbeth has worked for start-ups and scale-ups, including Urbanbite and Springwise. More recently, she’s taken a hands-on interest in organic farming, studying organic agriculture and working as a vegetable grower on the side.
