Based in Singapore, Qian Hong helps TrendWatching to identify the most pertinent consumer trends across the Asia-Pacific region. As a Trend Analyst, she helps steer the direction of TrendWatching’s localized trend reports, guides clients on how to meaningfully innovate in the APAC market, and is a driving force behind our e-learning portal TrendWatching Academy.
A graduate in Psychology, she’s passionate about broadening access to mental health services and has worked with Singapore’s Ministry of Social and Family Development and National Council of Social Service to this end. Having worked in a variety of professional environments – from social services to government offices – she brings a natural curiosity and an empathetic touch to her work.
At TrendWatching, she’s turned her hand to projects with clients such as Verizon Media and the India-based innovation consultancy QGLUE. She is currently writing a whitepaper on the future of social media for a digital publisher in Singapore.
