Erick is a Senior Trend Analyst based in Amsterdam with a passion for social justice and a knack for bringing consumer trends to life through vibrant storytelling. He is the linchpin of TrendWatching’s content team – producing our monthly Make→Shift publication, coordinating a global team of analysts, and heading up various internal, strategic initiatives.
Having previously worked as the Trend Director of a boutique market research agency, Erick’s an expert at translating shifts in consumer behavior into tangible business opportunities – and draws upon his degree in Trend Research and Concept Creation to this end. Through his work, he’s produced multiple podcasts and whitepapers on intersectional activism and led innovation trajectories for various multinational brands.
Erick has presented TrendWatching keynotes, webinars and hosted future-focused workshops for audiences around the world. In recent months, he hosted a virtual innovation workshop for Coca-Cola employees based across seven countries and presented keynotes for the likes of Google and Unicef.
