Spyce is a Boston-based restaurant, backed by Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud and founded by MIT graduates. The newly-opened establishment uses robots to produce healthy fast food at affordable prices. All bowls start at USD 7.50 and include ingredients such as roasted chicken, sautéed kale, balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts and pomegranate seeds. The prices are lower than at similar venues as the robots save on labor expenses. Spyce’s robots can cook meals in two minutes and they clean themselves.

And realistically, many of those same individuals that fret about job displacement will embrace the time and money-saving value that robots deliver. In this instance, we like how the founders were motivated by making healthy food affordable, versus improving their own margins. A question for your team: how good are you at passing on tech-driven savings to the customer?
